He was born on the 17th Sept 1917 in Gibralter and began his working life training race horses in Spain. At the outbreak of World War II he moved to England where he found work as a boxing agent.
In 2009 Forbes was presented a special recognition by the EBU for his long and meritorious services to boxing.

Born in Gibraltar, Pepe moved to London at the outbreak of the Second World War, and began a long and distinguished career in boxing, going on to work with promoters Jack Solomons, Frank Warren and Barry Hearn.
During his time in boxing, Pepe was responsible for introducing many overseas fighters to the UK, and played a huge part in shaping the sport both in the UK and internationally over his sixty years in the business.
In 2009, Pepe was given special recognition by the EBU for his services to boxing.
The sport has lost another incredibly influential figure. BoxRec would like to offer its deepest condolences to Pepe's family and friends.
